Write Watchers

If you are trying to carve out space for thinking/reading/writing (deep work), join Write Watchers. All faculty are welcome to join!

We meet on ZOOM every Tuesday from 10 - 11:30 a.m and Wednesday from 3 - 4:30 p.m. in Spring 2024 beginning on January 16th, 2024. In each Write Watcher session, we set goals at the beginning and then reflect on what we accomplished at the end. In between, we mute our mics and do deep work, with other supportive faculty working alongside us.

This year, the Tuesday group will be facilitated by Dr. Pat Shields, Regents' Professor in the Department of Political Science. Pat has a wealth of knowledge in writing, teaching, and research productivity, and it is an honor to have her as our host!
